CODE OF ETHICS
- Parents have the primary responsibility for the care and welfare of their children in sport
- Do not treat any club as a child minding service
- Fair play should always be emphasised and children should always be aware of acceptable standards of behaviour
- Do not put pressure on your child
- Lessons learned in children's sport will shape values and attitudes in adult life
- Children should be collected on time at completion of training
- Ensure that training is taking place before leaving your child and whenever possible remain with a child that ie U5-8s
- Make your child aware of acceptable standards of behaviour and report any inappropriate behaviour by any child to a Leader or Child Officer Aileen Laffan
- Ensure that your child has visited the toilet before training as no such facility is available in Bree without parental supervision.
- Emphasise to your child that fair play, participation, best effort, fun and enjoyment are most important in sport.
- Contact a coach by phone or text if in doubt about training taking place, please don't leave it to coach to contact you. Response may be after work hours.
- Please remember that all of our coaches and committee members are volunteers
